If you have an eCycle Group recycling account, we have an update for you. Due to a shift in ownership, checks older than 6 months are no longer redeemable. Our recycling center is now based in Erie, Pennsylvania. What does that mean for you? You can continue to ship your items to eCycle and get paid quickly! There are a few program changes that affect you:
We are now shipping with UPS
Free shipping is now provided by UPS. Please contact our customer service department to order labels at 1-866-377-7575 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please DO NOT use any FedEx labels you have. Contact us to get UPS labels.
You’ll be paid faster
Payments are made weekly. Once your shipment is received and processed, payment will be sent via check within seven days. There is a $25 minimum value for a check to be issued.
Free collection boxes
You will no longer be asked to pay a deposit for collection boxes! They can be requested free-of-charge from customer service by calling 1-866-377-7575 or email@example.com.
No more checklists
We no longer require you to send a list of items contained in your shipment. Our warehouse staff carefully goes through your shipment to determine which items qualify for payment, making things easier for you!
Continue to collect the same items
Inkjet and laser/toner cartridges and cell phones will still be collected. We accept new/surplus cartridges, but there is no longer a bonus paid for these items. Damaged or previously remanufactured cartridges will be responsibly recycled.
Updated packing instructions
Inkjet: eCycle now requests that you do not individually wrap inkjet cartridges UNLESS you are shipping them with other items, such as cell phones.
Laser/Toner: Please REMOVE these cartridges from their original packaging. Wrap them in newspaper or bubble wrap to protect them during shipping.
Cell phones: Phones can be shipped unwrapped and packed securely.
Remember to fill any remaining space with newspaper to prevent movement during shipping.
